Resources Connection Inc. Reports Fourth Quarter and Year-End Results for Fiscal 2012

Resources Connection Inc. reported total revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012 was $145.5 million, up 1.5% on a sequential quarter basis and even with last year’s fourth quarter revenue. Revenues in the U.S. were up 4.6% quarter-over-quarter and 3.8% sequentially, while international revenues decreased 11.7% quarter-over-quarter and 4.4% sequentially (7.4% quarter-over-quarter and 4.4% sequentially on a constant dollar basis). The company’s net income for the fourth quarter ended May 26 was $8.9 million, compared with a net income for the fourth quarter ended May 28, 2011, of $5.4 million.
100,000 Jobs Mission: 18,249 Veterans Hired Through Second Quarter 2012

The 100,000 Jobs Mission, a coalition of 55 companies committed to hiring at least 100,000 veterans by 2020, collectively hired 18,249 veterans through June 30. This number is up from 12,179 veterans hired through the end of March of this year.
“We are very happy at the progress this coalition has made so far,” says Frank Bisignano, chief administrative officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., a founding member of the 100,000 Jobs Mission. “But we remain focused on our goal. The number of unemployed veterans continues to be high, and more businesses need to recognize the tremendous talent, intellect, and skill our servicemen and women can bring to their organizations.”
The 100,000 Jobs Mission was launched in March 2011 by 11 companies and since has grown to 55 companies. The 100,000 Jobs Mission is focused on expanding the coalition with other companies committed to providing employment opportunities for transitioning military members and veterans.
