CTPartners Executive Search Inc. reported net revenue of $42 million for the fourth quarter of 2014, up 22% from $34.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2013, and net revenue of $172 million for all of 2014, up 32% from $130.3 million in 2013. When complete, audited financial results are reported, adjusted net income is expected to be between $0.5 million and $0.6 million for the fourth quarter, compared with $0.9 million in the year-ago quarter, and between $6.2 million and $6.4 million for the full year, compared with $1.8 million in 2013.

The number of people applying for unemployment benefits in the week ended Jan. 17 decreased by 10,000 to 307,000, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The 52 economists surveyed by Bloomberg had forecast claims of 300,000. The four-week moving average of new claims increased by 6,500 to 306,500, the highest since mid-July.
