What Did The Latest WEBO Say About the Outlook for 2025?

The Weekly Economic & Business Outlook—or WEBO—is an ASA resource that goes out to member email boxes each week—ASA researchers examine trends within the staffing industry and developments within the broader economy, and they deliver succinct takeaways that can help drive strategic business decisions.

In the most recent edition of the WEBO (the final WEBO of 2024), ASA analysts looked at how the staffing industry is poised to address clients’ staffing needs in the year ahead. Employers still recognize the value added by temporary workers and staffing companies, and but were simply hamstrung by suboptimal labor costs and economic conditions have been showing signs of improvement. ASA chief economist Noah Yosif believes the industry has the potential to adapt and prosper despite future challenges, having undertaken many of the critical steps required today to address the staffing needs of tomorrow.

The WEBO is a powerful and targeted data and analysis tool with features designed to deliver the data-driven intelligence you need to track trends and capitalize on opportunities. If you missed a previous edition, there is an archive available at americanstaffing.net/webo—look for “Past Issues” in the sidebar.

To make sure you’re getting your WEBO each week, as well as other ASA research emails, click the “Unsubscribe/Manage Email Preferences” link at the very bottom of this newsletter and opt in to research content. Also, be sure to allow emails from research@americanstaffing.net.
