ASA Is Founding Member of WBC Council to Advance Diversity and Inclusion in Staffing

ASA has joined the Women Business Collaborative Staffing Leadership Council as a founding member to accelerate diversity, equity, and inclusion in the staffing and recruiting industry. Other council partners include Staffing Industry Analysts, TechServe Alliance, and executive-level representatives of several staffing and recruiting agencies.

“ASA is delighted to partner with WBC to support the advancement of women into senior positions in the staffing industry,” said Leo Sheridan, ASA chairman of the board and Advance Group president and chief executive officer. “This effort aligns with the association’s ongoing women in leadership initiative. We know that partnerships like this are critical to creating more equitable organizations in staffing.”

The WBC Staffing Leadership Council is concentrating on three key objectives to address issues of gender parity and equity. It is launching its efforts by conducting an industry-wide survey to understand the social identities among women in staffing. The analyzed results will be used to help improve the representation of women in leadership roles in staffing.
