Help Advance Diversity and Inclusion in Staffing—Participate in the WBC Council Survey Today

ASA has joined the Women Business Collaborative Staffing Leadership Council as a founding member to accelerate diversity, equity, and inclusion in the staffing and recruiting industry. The council is concentrating on three key objectives to address issues of gender parity and equity: gathering data, establishing benchmarks, and building metrics for progress; building broad industry awareness and leveraging work through the pillars of the WBC; and identifying opportunities to make a difference and track results across the staffing industry.

As part of its efforts to address issues of gender parity and equity, WBC is conducting an industry-wide survey to collect data on social identities of women in staffing; the results will be used to help improve the representation of women in leadership roles in staffing. The Benchmarking Gender Equity in the Staffing Industry survey closes next Tuesday, Sept. 1. Acquires HireVergence

Get Weekly Updates on Staffing Employment Trends, With Dynamic Charts

Looking for real-time data on staffing employment? The ASA Staffing Index reports weekly changes in the number of people employed in temporary and contract work, now including Staffing Starts (new assignments). The data will help your firm evaluate its performance against a national metric on both a weekly and long-term basis.

All staffing firms with U.S. operations are invited to participate in the ASA Staffing Index survey. Every Tuesday, participants receive an email with the results of the weekly survey, including figures by company size, and access to historical data and new dynamic charts. These data, which are not available anywhere else, allow staffing firms to compare how their business is doing on a weekly basis relative to similarly sized firms in the industry. There are no fees to participate in the five-question survey.

Don’t get stuck with outdated or unreliable data—sign up to participate in the ASA Staffing Index and receive the most up-to-date information about the staffing industry. For more information about the index, visit
