ASA Launches National PR Campaign, and You Have a Role to Play

ASA has launched a national public relations campaign with the support of an outside PR agency to promote the interests of the staffing industry in the news media as the nation continues to navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. The goal of the campaign is to spotlight the value of staffing to job seekers and employees, businesses, and the overall U.S. economy. In part, this is being accomplished by sharing real pandemic-related stories of staffing success. And the association needs your help.

Is your staffing company providing jobs to furloughed or laid-off employees or others in need of work? Leading initiatives to train, upskill, and reskill your temporary and contract employees to place them in essential positions or in other jobs that are hiring? Making a difference in the communities where your employees work? If you have stories like these to share, ASA wants to hear from you.

In addition, remember to look to ASA as a resource to your staffing firm when contacted by the news media. The ASA PR team is available to lend its expertise to help vet potential interview opportunities, discuss industry messaging, and to provide additional interview prep support. Email prteam@americanstaffing.net to learn more.
