New ASA Legal Line Video for Members: Legal Trends for Background Checks and Drug Screening

The ASA Legal Line monthly video series features a member of the association’s legal team and addresses critical legal, regulatory, and legislative topics that have direct implications for your business. In the latest installment, ASA general counsel Brittany Sakata highlights the legal trends around background checks and drug testing and the resources ASA has available to help you navigate these tricky legal issues.

Sakata also previews a session at the ASA Staffing Law Conference dedicated entirely to these two topics and to human resource best practices, “Getting to Know You: Why Are Background Checks and Drug Tests So Hard?” The takes place May 18–19 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.
