Industry Leader Embree Robinson Passes Away

Longtime industry veteran Embree Robinson, a former member of the ASA board of directors, passed away this week. Robinson was one of the founders of TRC Staffing, established in 1980. After retiring, he continued to serve as chairman of the company’s board of directors.

“Embree Robinson was passionate about our industry and passionate about ASA,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer. “From the time that he attended his first convention in 1973, Embree began volunteering—serving on and chairing several committees before being elected for multiple terms on the ASA board of directors. Embree played a key leadership role in building the association’s capacity and effectiveness. He will be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him over the years.”
