Free ASA Webinar This Week—Staffing Stats

Every year, ASA produces an economic analysis of the staffing industry, published as a special issue of Staffing Success magazine. This year’s Staffing Industry Playbook is bigger and better than ever, with more than double the data and an associated website that features downloadable graphics, videos, and more. It shows you how to interpret recent economic trends affecting the U.S. staffing industry—and how you can utilize staffing and economic data to make smart decisions and projections for your business.

Given the U.S. economy and staffing sales trends this past year, it’s more important than ever to get ahead of opportunities for growth. Join ASA chief economist Noah Yosif for a strategic look at the data and analysis in the 2024 Staffing Industry Playbook during the ASA webinar “Staffing STATS—The 2024 Staffing Industry Playbook: Data-Driven Insights to Navigate Disruption Now and Plan for 2025.” It takes place Thursday, Nov. 21, 2–3 p.m. Eastern time.

All ASA webinars are free for ASA members, and most qualify for continuing education hours toward ASA certification renewal. To learn more and to register, visit americanstaffing.net.

ASA Offers Resources to Help Firms Increase Disability Inclusion in Staffing

ASA—in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy—has developed a website of tools to help employers make their businesses more inclusive for talent with disabilities. The site includes resources on best practices for recruiting, hiring, retaining, and advancing talent with disabilities; what employers need to know about managing a diverse workforce that includes people with disabilities; and ways employers can promote disability inclusion in their internal and external communications.

It also provides information on commonsense workplace changes that result in more digitally accessible workplaces. This is another initiative in the joint effort between ASA and ODEP, which signed an alliance in May 2020 to advance the employment of people with disabilities in the staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industries.
