Today at Staffing World—It’s Tech Tuesday

Staffing World 2020, the ASA annual convention and expo, began yesterday and continues through Thursday right on your computer or other device.

At yesterday’s opening Super Session, ASA past chairman Karenjo Goodwin presented the ASA Leadership Hall of Fame Award to Jeffrey A. Joerres, former chairman and chief executive officer of ManpowerGroup. Then future of work strategist Heather McGowan discussed the importance of continuous education and adaptation to the current moment and to what will follow when the present crisis is over.

Today at the Super Session, keynote speaker Erik Qualman will share tips on how to implement current and future digital trends in your organization and discuss the five habits that drive success and happiness for employees, partners, clients, and customers. His presentation, “Digital Transformation: Design Your Future,” is sponsored by World Wide Specialty Programs.

Then it’s Tech Tuesday, featuring content dedicated to technology solutions and strategies specific to the industry—including the ever-popular Tech Talks. Tech-related sessions include “Rise of the Robots: Friend or Foe for Women in the Future of Work” (sponsored by the women in leadership interest group) and the panel discussion “My Tech Stack Is Better Than Yours” (sponsored by Bullhorn).

Educational sessions take place from 12:45 to 5:15 p.m. Eastern time, and the virtual expo hall is open until 6 p.m.
