Renamed to better reflect its important focus on compliance and related human resource content, the ASA Staffing Law & Compliance Conference (formerly the Staffing Law Conference) happens this week—Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17, at the Westin Washington, DC, Downtown in Washington, DC. Plus there’s a special compliance preconference program, “Health Care Staffing: Legal and Legislative Updates,” Wednesday, May 15, from 1 to 5 p.m. Eastern time.

Subject matter experts will discuss the industry’s most pressing topics—including artificial intelligence, contract negotiations, legislation aimed at the staffing industry, and more.

The ASA Women in Leadership Scholarship Program aims to raise the visibility of women in the staffing industry. Each year, a select number of emerging women leaders are chosen to receive scholarships that cover registration fees for Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo (Oct. 22–24 in Nashville, TN), as well as THRIVE Live (Oct. 21–22 in Nashville).

Are you looking to support your colleagues and help advance future leaders in the staffing and recruiting industry? Enroll as a mentor in the ASA Mentor Match program. Mentor Match allows members to make valuable industry connections, define career goals, and gain insight from staffing peers. The goal of the program is to help members grow professionally and network with fellow ASA members.
