Staffing firms now consider recruitment of talent a bigger challenge than selling their services. In the current talent and recruitment environment, some companies are shifting their spending into more high-tech strategies, such as shifting attention from job boards to professional networking platforms and from transactional applicant tracking systems to more powerful candidate relationship management systems that leverage technology to engage candidates in more pervasive, contemporary ways.
