Elwood Staffing News Release (02/20/2013)

Elwood Staffing, headquartered in Columbus, IN, today announced that it has purchased SOS Employment Group, headquartered in Salt Lake City. SOS will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Elwood Staffing that will operate like a sister company. Mark Elwood, chief executive officer of Elwood Staffing, will lead the combined entity, which will have annual revenue of more than $750 million.

“This transaction combines the service capabilities, technologies, geographic reach, and best practices of two successful companies,” Elwood says. With virtually no geographic overlap, the firms together will operate more than 170 offices and more than 50 on-site client locations in 33 states and in Canada. Financial details of the transaction were not announced.
