The Conference Board Leading Economic Index for the U.S. was unchanged in June, remaining at 95.3, following a 0.2% increase in May. “However, the LEI’s six-month growth rate remains positive, suggesting the economy will continue expanding through the end of the year,” says Conference Board economist Ataman Ozyildirim. Meanwhile, the Conference Board Coincident Economic Index for the U.S. rose 0.2% in June to 105.9, and the Lagging Economic Index for the U.S. rose 0.3% to 119.
