Kforce Inc. News Release (07/30/13)

Kforce Inc. reported revenues of $283.7 million for the second quarter of 2013, up 3.5% from $274.1 million in the second quarter of 2012. The company’s net income was $6.9 million for the quarter.

Flex revenue rose 3.6% to $270.4 million in the second quarter of 2013 from $260.9 million in the second quarter of 2012, and search revenue climbed 0.8% to $13.3 million from $13.2 million over the same period.

“We remain optimistic about our prospects and are committed to our belief that temporary staffing penetration, which increased to a cyclical high of 1.97% in June 2013, will continue to grow as companies redefine how they acquire and deploy human capital and will likely surpass its prior peak in the not-so-distant future,” said chairman and chief executive officer David Dunkel.
