On Assignment Inc. reported revenues of $432.2 million in the third quarter of 2013, up 15.4% from $374.5 million in the third quarter of 2012. Its net income was $20.2 million, up 30.3% from $15.5 million in the year-ago quarter.

The company also reported revenues of $246.4 million for its Apex business, up 21.6% from $202.7 million; $100 million for its Oxford business, up 13.6% from $88 million; $44.1 million for its life sciences segment, up 8.6% from $40.6 million; $26.2 million for its physician segment, down 4.7% from $27.5 million; and $15.5 million for its health care segment, down 0.6% from $15.6 million.
