Consumer sentiment declined in May over concerns about income growth, according to the monthly Thomson Reuters and University of Michigan survey. A preliminary reading shows overall consumer sentiment at 81.8, down from 84.1 in April. Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast a reading of 84.5.
