ASA Staffing Law Conference Delivers Answers, Spurs ACA Conversations

This week’s sold-out ASA Staffing Law Conference delivered timely, industry-specific answers on the most pressing legal and legislative issues affecting staffing firms right now. If you missed this year’s conference, you can purchase the recordings package—available only to ASA members. Get the details at

Among the conference highlights, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration and ASA signed an alliance agreement to help protect the health and safety of temporary workers, and the Affordable Care Act panel discussion, facilitated by ASA senior counsel Ed Lenz, spurred conversations about variable-hour employee classifications and several other ACA compliance issues.

Overall, packed sessions, lively exchanges, and a busy expo hall dominated the ASA Staffing Law Conference scene. See photos from the event, and mark your calendar for the ASA 2015 Staffing Law Conference in metro Washington, DC, April 28–29.
