Kforce Inc. News Release (02/10/15)

Kforce Inc. reported revenues of $318.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, up 13% from $282.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2013. Net income totaled $8.9 million, compared with a net loss of $8.2 million in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for all of 2014 totaled $1.22 billion, up 13.4% from $1.07 billion in 2013. Net income totaled $90.9 million, up from $10.8 million in 2013. “Our growth is being driven across all business lines, including Tech Flex, our largest business segment,” said Kforce chairman and chief executive officer David Dunkel in a call with investors.

TeamHealth Holdings News Release (02/10/15)

Team Health Holdings Inc. reported net revenue of $790.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2014, up 27.2% from $621.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2013. Net earnings totaled $16.1 million, down 25% from $21.5 million in the year-ago quarter.

For all of 2014, net revenue totaled $2.82 billion, up 18.3% from $2.38 billion in 2013. Net earnings totaled $97.7 million, up 12% from $87.4 million in 2013.

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (02/10/15)

There were 5.0 million job openings on the last business day of December—the highest level of job openings since January 2001—and up from 4.8 million in November, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Hires (5.1 million) and separations (4.9 million) were little changed in December. Within separations, the quits rate (1.9%) and the layoffs and discharges rate (1.2%) were unchanged. The job openings rate for December was 3.5%.
