CDI Corp. has acquired Boston-based EdgeRock Technologies LLC, a privately held company that specializes in information technology staffing. EdgeRock will become a division of CDI and continue to operate under the EdgeRock Technology Partners brand name.

U.S. Department of Labor (10/06/15)
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration says that only workers provided with proper training, equipment, and experience should conduct cleanup activities following Hurricane Joaquin. OSHA is attempting to minimize any dangers by emphasizing “knowledge, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment.” The agency released a list of protective measures that should be taken, which include the following: evaluation of work area for hazards, employment of engineering or work practices controls to mitigate hazards, use of personal protective equipment, assumption that all power lines are live, and correct and proper use of portable generators, saws, ladders, vehicles, and other equipment.
