A Nevada state court has granted a motion filed by ASA to bar enforcement of a law scheduled to go into effect Oct. 1 that would prohibit staffing agencies from providing skilled labor to Nevada construction contractors. The enforcement ban will remain in effect until a final ruling is issued in the case, which is expected as early as the end of the month. ASA filed suit Aug. 31 challenging the law on constitutional and other grounds.
