OSHA Publishes New TWI Bulletin Addressing Safety at Construction Sites
Through its longstanding formal alliance, ASA and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration created a new Temporary Worker Initiative (TWI) Bulletin that addresses health and safety requirements for temporary workers in construction industry employment. Published yesterday, this new bulletin details the responsibilities of both staffing firms and host employers in ensuring temporary workers receive proper training and are protected from job hazards at construction sites. The bulletin, which is also available in Spanish, was reviewed and revised by the ASA employee safety committee and can be accessed here.
