Premiums for employer health coverage increased fairly slowly this year, according to a survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation. The increase—from an annual rate of $15,745 in 2012 to $16,351—represented the same rate of growth as a year ago. This likely reflects employees’ continued tendency to limit their use of medical care, says Gary Claxton, vice president of the foundation.
