Contract network architect and engineer Matthew Earley has been named 2014 National Staffing Employee of the Year by ASA. Among his many achievements as a contract employee for Long Island, NY-based LLoyd Staffing, Earley is being lauded by ASA for his extraordinary efforts during Hurricane Sandy last year.
The award announcement marks the start of National Staffing Employee Week, Sept. 16–22, which honors the vital contributions temporary and contract employees make to the nation’s work force and economy. Earley will be formally honored at Staffing World on Oct. 9. The National Staffing Employee Award is sponsored by ASA corporate partner First Staff Benefits.
“Matthew’s story illustrates how businesses can count on staffing companies during normal periods as well as extraordinary times of special need,” says Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer. “Matthew went above and beyond during Hurricane Sandy, and for that, the U.S. staffing industry is honored to recognize him as National Staffing Employee of the Year.”
