Resources Connection Inc. News Release (10/01/13)

Resources Connection Inc. reported revenue of $131.7 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2014, down 3.8% from $136.6 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2013. On a quarter-to-quarter basis, the company’s U.S. revenue fell 2.5%. The company also reported net income of $3.7 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2014, down 23% from $4.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2013.

Crain’s Cleveland Business (10/01/13)

The Reserves Network, an office, industrial, professional, and technical staffing firm, has acquired TempWise Inc. of Tampa, FL, for an undisclosed price. TempWise will retain its name and brand, and operate as a Reserves Network affiliate. With the acquisition, the Reserves network gains two Florida offices. This is the fourth acquisition the Reserves Network has made in five years, and the second this year.

Odgers Berndtson, a U.K.-based executive search firm with operations in the U.S., has merged with Braithwaite Steiner Pretty, an Asia-Pacific executive search firm. BSP operates in Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, and India. The move will increase Odgers Berndtson’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
