U.S. Consumer Sentiment Falls in March

Consumer sentiment declined in March, according to the Thomson Reuters and University of Michigan consumer sentiment index. The index’s final March reading stood at 80.0, up from the preliminary March reading of 79.9, but down from 81.6 a month earlier. Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast a reading of 80.5.
