The ASA Staffing Index for the week of May 11–17 was 97.03—the 19th consecutive record high week of the year. Temporary and contract staffing employment increased 0.32% from the prior week, and was 0.24% higher than the same week last year.
This week, containing the 12th, will be used in the May monthly employment situation report that will be issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics June 5.
