On April 1, as part of the first American Staffing Association National Day of Service, staffing and recruiting professionals from states around the U.S. will help prepare at-risk youth in their local communities for their future roles in the workforce.
On the ASA National Day of Service, high school students—primarily associated with ASA philanthropic partner Jobs for America’s Graduates—will participate in mock interviews and résumé reviews with volunteers from ASA State Networks and affiliated chapters.
“Staffing professionals are employability experts, and ASA created the National Day of Service to bring this expertise to challenged youth from around the U.S. who face serious barriers to graduation or future employment,” said Richard Wahlquist, ASA president and chief executive officer.
