Buyers of a business generally expect sellers to be responsible for certain liabilities relating to when the seller owned its business—a concept mergers and acquisitions professionals refer to as indemnification. Indemnification is one of the most heavily negotiated, and potentially most significant, provisions of a purchase agreement, and understanding the terminology common to such agreements is essential when negotiating a deal. ASA Offers Vaccine Literacy Resources for Staffing Firms
As part of its continued effort to support staffing firms’ response to Covid-19, ASA has launched a new webpage: Vaccine Literacy Resources for Staffing Firms. The site provides valuable downloads and links employers can use to engage and educate workers about Covid-19 vaccines. ASA partnered with the Health Action Alliance to share these free resources, including a quick-start guide, sample communications, vaccine FAQs, a social media tool kit, and more.
Research shows that businesses and employers are a trusted source of information and are well-suited to advance vaccine literacy efforts. The new ASA site also links to National Safety Council resources, developed by NSC’s “SAFER: Safe Actions for Employee Returns” task force.
