Tell ASA What You Think—Annual Member Survey Now Open

How can ASA best meet your needs? Provide invaluable feedback to the association by answering a few simple questions about your membership experience. Your participation in this brief survey is critical in helping ASA learn what is important to you and how well the association is serving you—plus you could win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards when you complete it.

A link to the survey was sent to staffing firm members last week, and responses are due June 28. If you have any questions or did not receive a survey link, contact Tim Hulley at 703-253-1154 or thulley@americanstaffing.net.

Free ASA Webinar Today—California’s Workplace Violence Prevention Law

Don’t miss the ASA webinar “California Workplace Violence Prevention Program Requirements: What Staffing Firms Should Do Now to Comply With SB 553.” It takes place today from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time. A new California law that takes effect July 1 requires employers to establish and maintain a written workplace violence prevention plan. Seyfarth Shaw attorneys Patrick Joyce and Ilana Morady will review the requirements of the law and staffing firms’ obligations are under the law.

All ASA webinars are free for ASA members, and most qualify for continuing education hours toward ASA certification renewal. To learn more and to register, visit americanstaffing.net.
