The American Staffing Association Foundation has announced the inaugural participants of its new Accelerator Program, designed to support women entrepreneurs and founders in the early stages of growing their staffing and recruiting businesses, which was established after a generous donation from Dorothy Taylor, 2021 ASA Leadership Hall of Fame inductee and former chief executive officer of World Wide Specialty Programs.
The nine inaugural participants were recognized at THRIVE Live and Staffing World®, the ASA annual convention and expo, in October. Beth Erwin, founder and chief executive officer of three-year-old staffing firm BESTAFF, was named the program’s overall winner and will receive a $15,000 grant to help grow her business. The nine entrepreneurs and founders are taking part in a year-long program that includes attendance at the ASA events THRIVE Live and Staffing World, exclusive monthly peer group sessions, and mentorship through the ASA Mentor Match program.
