This week is National Volunteer Week, first established by presidential proclamation in 1974 to honor the nation’s volunteers and to encourage volunteerism. ASA succeeds because of its volunteers, and this is an ideal time for the association to celebrate and thank the many volunteers who contribute their time and share their expertise with the association throughout the year to advance the industry and ASA.
Volunteering with ASA provides many benefits—including the opportunity to network with your peers, learn about trends and best practices, develop leadership skills, and build upon your experiences and knowledge. If you’re interested in getting involved, go to americanstaffing.net to learn about available volunteer opportunities, or email volunteer@americanstaffing.net for more information.
