Maximize Your Staffing World Experience—Add a Preconvention Program

Are you ready for Staffing World®, the industry’s biggest event? The ASA annual convention and expo, Oct. 3–5 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, NC, will give you the chance to choose among more than 30 learning sessions in 12 major content categories—including business development, talent management, technology, and more.

Among the new learning opportunities this year are preconvention programs that will take place before the convention begins:

  • THRIVE Live (presented by the ASA women in leadership interest group)
  • Staffing Firm Owners Masterclass
  • Recruiting Masterclass

These preconvention programs take place Monday, Oct. 2, and Tuesday, Oct. 3; separate registration is required. Visit staffingworld.net to learn more and register.

Free Networking Call Tomorrow—Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Community

Don’t miss tomorrow’s networking call “Unveiling Microaggressions, Empowering Bystander Intervention,” 3–4 p.m. Eastern time. Subtle forms of discrimination—known as microaggressions—can perpetuate harm, but bystander intervention can help stop microaggressions and empower employees to contribute to a more inclusive and supportive workplace. Presented by the ASA inclusion, diversity, and equity advocacy (IDEA) group, this virtual networking call will be facilitated by Victoria Hill of Advanced Group and DeLibra Wesley of National Recruiting Consultants.

The call qualifies for continuing education hours toward ASA certification renewal. The ASA IDEA group is sponsored by ASA corporate partners ClearlyRated and Monster, and by WorkN.
