Get Free Staffing Employment and Sales Data—ASA Quarterly Survey Now Open

The association’s quarterly Staffing Employment and Sales Survey for the fourth quarter of 2023 is now open. Staffing companies that complete the brief survey by Feb. 23—including search and placement firms—will have access to an exclusive report on the results, enhanced with graphs. The report, which participants can download from the ASA website, also includes an executive summary, plus sales category and sector-level data.

Network in Your Niche During ASA Virtual Networking Calls Happening This Month

New DOL Rules Highlight the Benefits of Staffing Firm Employer Status

The new worker classification rules published by the U.S. Department of Labor this week (as reported in Staffing Today Tuesday) point up the importance of clients using staffing firms that operate as employers. The new rules likely will increase the risk of using app-based job platforms that classify workers as independent contractors. ASA has published resources to help members educate their clients on the advantages of using W-2 staffing firms—which the overwhelming majority of firms are—and the legal risks of using workers classified as independent contractors.
