Get Your Staffing Benchmarks and Projections—ASA Quarterly Staffing Employment and Sales Survey Closes This Month

The association’s quarterly Staffing Employment and Sales Survey for the second quarter of 2024 is now open; members recently received a survey link in their email. Staffing companies that complete the brief survey by Aug. 23 receive an exclusive report on the results, which includes gross margin and sector-level data.

Register to take the survey, or view the questionnaire, at americanstaffing.net/quarterly-survey. If you have questions or did not receive a survey link, email research@americanstaffing.net. There are no fees to participate.

Free ASA Webinar Tomorrow—Understanding New Overtime Rules

Don’t miss tomorrow’s ASA webinar “Navigating New Overtime Rules: Key Changes and Legal Challenges for Staffing Employers,” 2–3 p.m. Eastern time. A new regulation published by the U.S. Department of Labor significantly increases the level of compensation needed to make a worker exempt from federal overtime provisions. Lawsuits were filed to challenge the new rule—one injunction has been issued so far, and future litigation is likely. Attorney Peter Spanos of Taylor English will provide an overview of how the rule relates to staffing businesses and discuss the potential effects of future litigation. Sponsored by Taylor English.

All ASA webinars are free for ASA members, and most qualify for continuing education hours toward ASA certification renewal. To learn more and to register, visit americanstaffing.net.
