Recognizing the Volunteers Who Power ASA During National Volunteer Week

This week, April 19–25, marks National Volunteer Week, and the American Staffing Association is proud to celebrate the nearly 300 volunteers who serve the association across more than 15 committees, councils, and taskforces. Together, they help shape dozens of ASA programs and initiatives throughout the year.

ASA is grateful for their commitment not only to the association, but also to strengthening the staffing industry as a whole.

This week, ASA will be highlighting volunteers on LinkedIn, including with a fun “Pass the Phone” challenge featuring members of this incredible community. Join the association in recognizing your peers by tagging an ASA volunteer who has inspired you and sharing a quick note using the hashtag #ASAVolunteer2026.

ASA Networking Call Next Week on AI in Professional–Managerial Staffing

Are you looking for strategies to improve sales communication, overcome client objections, and use technology to support both recruiting and business development efforts? Get insights from industry peers during the ASA networking call “AI Meets Business Development to Solve Professional–Managerial Challenges.” It takes place Wednesday, April 29, 1–2 p.m. Eastern time.

This virtual networking call will be facilitated by ASA member volunteers Erica Amendola of Randstad and Larry Marion, CSP, of AtWork Group. The call qualifies for continuing education hours toward ASA certification renewal.

The association’s quarterly Staffing Employment and Sales Survey for the first quarter of 2026 is now open. Staffing companies that complete the brief survey by May 27 receive an exclusive report on the results, which includes gross margin and sector-level data.
