ASA Staffing Law Conference Starts Tomorrow—Learn to Manage the Great Resignation and More

The workplace is changing, workers are quitting jobs at a record pace, and employers have to navigate the legal repercussions. Is your firm prepared to comply with the law while maintaining its business operations?

Tomorrow and Friday, come to the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC, for the ASA Staffing Law Conference. In the session “Managing Fallout From the Great Resignation,” legal experts will discuss the rules relating to noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements, navigating employee exits, and more. The session “Remote Work and Return to Office: Legal Challenges and Opportunities” will focus on risks to staffing firms associated with remote or hybrid work environments—including wage and hour compliance, technology use, equal employment opportunities, and client contracts—and get practical mitigation strategies and solutions.

ASA-certified professionals can earn up to 8 hours of continuing education credit, and ASA has applied for preapproved Continuing Legal Education credit hours in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Attendees seeking CLE hours for these states should fill out this form. Attendees from other states can email certification@americanstaffing.net for information about attendance tracking and documentation.
