In an anonymous instant poll conducted at the ASA annual convention and expo, which took place this week in Orlando, 83% of Staffing World attendees said they are expecting at least a 5% growth in revenue this year. A majority of firms said they’re concerned about recruiting qualified talent in the year ahead.
In Tuesday’s opening general session, Staffing World attendees were asked “What is your top concern about the year ahead?” Of the 313 total respondents, 39% of attendees cited “recruiting qualified talent” as their top concern, with “generating revenues” and “improving gross margins” tied as the next most-popular response.
In Wednesday’s general session, attendees were asked “What are you projecting for 2013 revenues?” Of 300 respondents, 42% answered “up 5–10%,” and 41% answered “up more than 10%.”
